Beefy Stuffed Potatoes

An ultimate loaded baked potato! Combine Knauss dried beef, shredded cheddar cheese, chives and sour cream for an out of this world combination.

Beefy Stuffed Potatoes

  • 1 ounce(s) Knauss Dried Beef, finely chopped
  • 1 Large Baked Potato
  • 0.5 tablespoon(s) Butter or Margarine
  • 0.25 cup(s) Milk
  • 0.5 cup(s) Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon(s) chives
  • 1 dash(es) Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Sour Cream

Beefy Stuffed Potatoes Directions

  1. Wash and scrub skin of potato and pat dry. Place potato on a microwave safe plate and heat on high for 5-7 minutes or until the top of the potato feels tender.
  2. Remove potato from microwave and cut a slit lengthwise across the top of the potato.
  3. Scoop out the inside of the potato and place in a small dish.  Pour milk over the scooped potato and stir until slightly creamy. Add salt and pepper, cheese, 1/2 of the sour cream and 1/2 of the dried beef to the mixture.
  4. Refill potato with mixture and top with remaining cheddar cheese and dried beef. Sprinkle with chives and serve with remaining sour cream. Enjoy!

  • 6 deboned chicken breasts
  • 4 ounce(s) Knauss Dried Beef
  • 1 Large carton sour cream
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup

Chicken with Dried Beef Directions

  1. Wrap a piece of dried beef around chicken breasts. Place in casserole dish. Mix carton of sour cream and can of cream of mushroom soup. Pour over chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours.

  • 3 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 3 tablespoon(s) flour
  • 0.75 cup(s) heavy cream
  • ounce(s) peas, liquid reserved
  • 3 ounces of Knauss dried beef, shredded
  • 0.25 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 3 cup(s) cooked sliced potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • cup(s) dry bread crumbs

Dried Beef and Potato Casserole Directions

  1. Melt butter over medium-low heat in a medium saucepan. Blend in flour, stirring until smooth and bubbly. Gradually add heavy cream and liquid from peas. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add shredded dried beef and the peas.
  2. In a greased casserole, arrange the sliced cooked potatoes; sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt. Pour dried beef sauce mixture over potatoes. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.

  • 2 tablespoon(s) Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Vegetable Oil
  • 2 teaspoon(s) Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Ginger
  • 1 cup(s) Green Peppers, chopped
  • 0.5 cup(s) Onion, chopped
  • servings of cooked rice

Stir Fry Beef & Peppers Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Dried Beef, sherry, soy sauce, vegetable oil, cornstarch, and ginger. Marinate for 20 minutes. In a frying pan or wok, heat oil on medium high heat. Add marinated Dried Beef along with green peppers and onions. Heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve over cooked rice.
